Denise Kerr, BACP

Denise Kerr is an integrative psychotherapist who tailors therapy to each person’s individual needs, offering a supportive space to explore emotional concerns and life changes. She combines a range of therapeutic tools rather than relying on a single method, helping clients work through issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, grief, self-esteem and trauma. Denise brings a compassionate, goal-focused approach to personal development and coaching, and she pays attention to specific concerns including attachment and abandonment, communication problems, parenting and workplace challenges.

She trained in psychology and counselling over many years, earning a BSc in Psychology and an MA in Psychotherapy and Counselling from Regent’s University London. She began counselling studies at the University of Westminster and completed further training in counselling and listening skills at WPF Therapy, followed by a Foundation in Psychotherapy and Counselling at Regent’s University. Early practical experience included roles with the mental health charity Mind as a centre worker and befriender, experiences that helped shape her interest in supporting people through difficult times.

Denise is a member of the BACP - the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy - and draws on integrative techniques to match interventions to each client’s circumstances. She accepts international clients and works through flexible remote formats to make therapy accessible to people with differing needs and schedules.
