Rev. Sergio Ayala, LCPC, LMHC

Rev. Sergio Ayala brings a blend of clinical training and long-term ministerial experience to his counseling practice. He holds a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling and a Master of Divinity with four units of Clinical Pastoral Education, and he has more than 15 years of ministerial or pastoral practice. Over a decade of clinical work informs his approach to supporting people facing stress, anxiety, addictions, trauma and abuse, grief, depression, relationship and family struggles, intimacy-related concerns, anger, career shifts, and other life changes.

He is licensed to practice counseling in both Illinois and Iowa and holds the credentials LCPC and LMHC - explained simply as Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
