Tara Hummel, LMHC, LPC

Tara Hummel is a licensed counselor who combines practical strategies with compassion to help people move toward a more satisfying life. She holds LMHC and LPC credentials and has training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which she integrates with other evidence-informed methods to address trauma, anxiety, addiction, grief, and relationship concerns.

Her clinical background includes work with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum and their families, where she supported behavior management and co-parenting challenges. She also has extensive experience supporting people struggling with alcoholism and other addictions, and she has volunteered as a cabin Grief Chief at Camp Erin in Philadelphia from 2015 through 2019, helping young people process the death of a loved one in a supportive, activity-based setting.
