Nina Powell is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with an advanced certification in hospice and palliative care and a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling. She combines clinical training and specialized hospice education to support people facing serious illness, caregiving demands, and major life transitions. Her background includes work with domestic violence survivors and individuals with disabilities, helping them manage symptoms, cope with illness, and address everyday stressors that affect functioning and well-being.

For the past 29 years she has focused on counseling adults, children, and families affected by cancer, guiding clients through treatment-related challenges and connecting them with appropriate resources.
